Weidong Wang
Executive Director and Chairman of the Board
Mr. Wang Weidong was appointed as a director in October 2013 and became executive director in May 2020. He has served as the chairman of the board since June 2019. He is mainly responsible for the company’s overall management, business and strategic planning.
He received a bachelor’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Hei Longjiang Business College (now known as Harbin University of Commerce) in July 1982. He founded Rongchang Pharmaceuticals, Ltd. in March 1993, and served as its Chairman and legal representative since its establishment. He has more than 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
Mr. Wang Weidong was the deputy to the 13th National People’s Congress, and is the deputy to the 14th National People’s Congress since 2023. He has been awarded honorary titles such as “The Outstanding Builder of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics from Non-Public Business Owners in Shandong Province”.
