Dr. Ma Lan has served as the company’s independent non-executive director since June 2021. Dr. Malan received her PhD from the University of North Carolina in 1990 and conducted postdoctoral research at the University of North Carolina from 1991 to 1993. From 1993 to 1995, he conducted postdoctoral research at the research center of the pharmaceutical division of Bayer company in the United States. She has been a professor at Shanghai Medical College, Fudan University since December 1995. From November 2003 to present, she has served as the director of the pharmacology research center of Fudan University. She has served as the Dean of the institute of brain science at Fudan University since July 2008, and was elected as an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in November 2019.
